Move On and Get On With Your Life

If you let it, jealousy will eat you alive.

There are millions of people who are so much ‘more’ than me.

  • Smarter
  • Richer
  • Faster
  • Skinnier
  • Prettier
  • Stronger
  • Funnier
  • Friendlier

…the list goes on and on and on.

The reverse is also true.

There are millions of people to whom I am their ‘so much more‘. More people than I care to admit to most days.

One question remains.

Who cares?

We need to stop paying attention to where we are in the lineup of the people around us. Counting the blessings of someone else leads to jealousy and wanting more. Focussing on what you have compared to what others lack creates arrogance.

The world needs less of both.

Life is too short to take notice.

You have a purpose to live out and you have the resources that you have. Be grateful and do not squander what has been given to you.

  • You have more, way more, than you realize.

It is time to move on and get on with your life.

What are you going to do with a thankful heart?

  1. I”m just going to be ME 🙂 and be thankful that I am me!

  2. I guess, if I do one thing right in this world, it’s gratitude. I am grateful for every day, and for having exactly what I have, nothing more, nothing less. I take time every day to remember this, but little reminders along the way are appreciated.

Sometimes less can be more. This is one of my favorite posts here, thank you.
