Chocolate Chip Cherry Torte Anyone?

When I checked my mailbox this morning there was a surprise package waiting for me. Usually I am tortured with flyers and bills, but not today.

It wasn’t even a mistake since it had my name on it.

Such a cute little box!

I mean, how many Donloree Hoffmans are there in the world?

You bectcha – just one.

But what in the world could it be?

New shoes?!?!

Apparently Larabar sent me samples of their new Chocolate Chip Cherry Torte bar. What girl doesn’t like free samples?

I LOVE free samples.

Let’s just say there is a reason I go to Costco right when they open. Those sample ladies with their atrocious red outfits are just setting up and it means I don’t have to sprint past 12 tables of tempting, free food.

Chocolate Chip Cherry Torte…mmm…sounds tasty, but is it?

Let’s sample it together, shall we?

Real food!

I give this a big thumbs up and am going to be chowing down one after I finish training arms tomorrow.

  1. What are the macros? It sounds delicious!!!

  2. That was cute! We don’t get Larabars in Australia but I wouldn’t be able to eat them anyway…

I chuckled when you said you got a package in your box. Yep, I’m mature 🙂

  3. YOU ARE ADORABLE. I loved watching you eat that… it made my mouth water. 🙂

  4. Oh my, those sound yummy!!!

  5. Donloree, you just crack me up when you do videos! I like bars myself. You might actually like the Quest Protein Bars. They’re pretty tasty and they are high in protein and low in sugar since they’re made with lo han guo. I’ve tried the peanut butter and also the almond crunch. My fave is the almond crunch. I haven’t tried but have heard that the brownie one is also quite delicious! And when you heat them up for about 10 seconds they taste like a cookie…mmmmmm….:-)

  6. Larabars are awesome. The peanut butter jelly ones are pretty amazing. I like them because they are real BUT they are still pretty sugary. I tell my clients they can have them once in a while and call them “fruit” in their meal plans. I actually had a few last week when I flew to the west coast – they dont bruise in my bag of food like a banana or apple would.

  7. ps – I was so sad I didn’t get to put a Larabar button on while watching the video like you had while recording it 🙁 (You crack me up girlfriend!!)
