Be a World Changer

If you are anything like me, you have more hopes and dreams than sense. You long for more than your cognitive mind tells you is possible and live from your heart.

Ambitious dreams are constantly running through the background of your life.

But then there is the daily grind; the stuff that must get done that doesn’t seem even close to having a purpose.

The mundane things of life have a weird way of  making the amazing things that you were created to be and do fade away to nothing. While your life’s ambitions disappear at an alarming rate, somehow you disappear at an even quicker rate.

This week I received tragic news about a friend that took his life.

My heart tore in half at the searing loss of a childhood mentor and I know my heart will not go back together the same way.

As my soul cried out for justice, I wondered….  How long had he been living an empty life? How long had it been since the nothingness took over him and he gave up the fight?

How long?

  • Its time to fight.
  • Its time to take a stand.
  • Its time to set your heart and mind on who you are being and not what you are doing.

Who you ‘be’ matters.

There is only one you. The world only gets the gift of you once. Please do not squelch, give up on, or decide the gift of you is not good enough.

Draw a line in the sand and refuse to let anything or anyone make you fade into the background of life; even if that person is you.

Yes line in the sand

Say 'Yes' to who you are.

Stand tall, stand proud, and do not falter. When you’ve done everything to stand, keep standing because you have a calling, purpose, and destiny to live out. Every single day you stand the world is changed; changed for the better.

Be a world changer. Be you.

I too lost a friend, someone I grew up with, someone I had just talked to and seen the week before he chose to take his own life at the very young age of 19. It was the hardest loss I have had to deal with yet and I hope that you can find peace. Hugs coming at you!
