Choco-Banana Post Workout Shake

Its summertime and I want something cold, frosty, and thick to drink after an epic workout.

Enter my 6 am brainchild – Choco-Banana Shake.

I have never made this before and thought you would want to experience it WITH me.

So I made a video of the first ever instance of the Choco-Banana Shake.

What to change when you make it:

  • no water
  • ice
  • add in a scoop of protein!

Why didn’t I add in protein powder? I am so silly sometimes!

The ingredients for this deliciousness are:

  • 1/2 plain almond milk
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tbsp cocoa
  • 4 ice cubes
  • scoop of protein powder  (chocolate, vanilla, or banana)
  • 1 tsp honey
  • a few shakes of cinnamon
Donloree choco banana

Delicious even if it was watery! 🙂

The nutritional information for the Choco-Banana Shake without protein powder is: Protein 1.5 grams, Carbs 31.5 grams, Fat 2 grams, Calories 150.

If you add in a scoop of protein powder that is 20 grams of protein and no carbs the nutritional information would be: Protein21.5 grams, Carbs 31.5 grams, Fat 2 grams, Calories 230.

  8. MmmmMMmmmm!! I think I know what’ll satisfy that craving, choco-nana NON-ICE CREAM! I freeze a banana (actually I always have banana’s frozen) throw it in a food processor (very important! Blender does not do the same thing) add 3/4 cup unsweetened choc almond milk, scoop protein and 2 tbsp of cocoa powder. DIVINE!!!! It’s thick and icecreamy, ahhh summer perfection!
