Its summertime and I want something cold, frosty, and thick to drink after an epic workout.
Enter my 6 am brainchild – Choco-Banana Shake.
I have never made this before and thought you would want to experience it WITH me.
So I made a video of the first ever instance of the Choco-Banana Shake.
What to change when you make it:
- no water
- ice
- add in a scoop of protein!
Why didn’t I add in protein powder? I am so silly sometimes!
The ingredients for this deliciousness are:
- 1/2 plain almond milk
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 tbsp cocoa
- 4 ice cubes
- scoop of protein powder (chocolate, vanilla, or banana)
- 1 tsp honey
- a few shakes of cinnamon
The nutritional information for the Choco-Banana Shake without protein powder is: Protein 1.5 grams, Carbs 31.5 grams, Fat 2 grams, Calories 150.
If you add in a scoop of protein powder that is 20 grams of protein and no carbs the nutritional information would be: Protein21.5 grams, Carbs 31.5 grams, Fat 2 grams, Calories 230.

MmmmMMmmmm!! I think I know what’ll satisfy that craving, choco-nana NON-ICE CREAM! I freeze a banana (actually I always have banana’s frozen) throw it in a food processor (very important! Blender does not do the same thing) add 3/4 cup unsweetened choc almond milk, scoop protein and 2 tbsp of cocoa powder. DIVINE!!!! It’s thick and icecreamy, ahhh summer perfection!
So cute! You were so sad about that cocoa residue being left behind. hehehe
