4:30 am…What Am I Doing?!

Some days I wonder what the heck I am doing.

Some days when the alarm rings in the morning it takes a lot of blinking and self talk to get motivated.

Yes, this is AM, not PM. The alarm rings at 4:30 every morning. Only after a cup of coffee I was able to take a picture of the clock. hah!

After I have lurched across the room to make the incessant noise stop, I immediately go to the kitchen and turn on the coffee.

Once I am properly caffeinated, there is no question about what I am doing.

I am living life to the absolute full and choosing to be the best me possible.

Ashley stated it quite nicely on Twitter yesterday:

“I can honestly say I have learned more about myself during contest prep than any other time in my life! It brings out your good qualities, emphasizes your bad ones (forcing you to deal with them), and shows you your true strength”

True strength indeed!

  1. Oh goodness! I’m right there with you, I get up at 5:30 but it will soon change to 4AM this summer!

  2. Mine is 3:45… that is when my Handsome wakes up. Lately its been harder to find the motivation to get up at that time. I’m blaming that on having not seen results in a while. But THAT I blame on myself. Where was I? Oh yeah, gotta get back to remembering why I do this. Right. 😉

  3. 4:30am, yup it’s around that time my weekdays start 🙂 Some days it ain’t easy, but I still do it because I love it! I’m sure all fit ladies experience the same things. I agree with Ashley, I learn more about my self during contest-prep.
