I used to like small, cute purses. Then I started training for a Figure Competition. It quickly became quite clear that I needed a larger purse. I needed somewhere to stash all of my snacks and mid-day meals without having to haul around a lunch bag.
Now I have tons of fun and fabulous purses that are on the rather large side. Lately I have been carrying my very bold, red purse in honor of me chasing down my dreams with determination.

LOVE this purse! Not only is it red, but it can hold up to 3 meals at any given time! It is a magical purse.
So what do I eat out of my fun red purse you ask? Here are some of my favorite combos on the run:
- 1 cup of blackberries and 1/4 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 apple diced (126 grams) and 82.5 grams of 0% greek yogurt spiced with cinnamon and cloves
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 100 grams peppers diced, 25 grams green onions, 100 grams tomatoes, and 10 grams of sharp cheddar shredded all seasoned with Mrs. Dash and freshly ground pepper
- 30 grams sliced sharp cheddar and half an apple (63 grams)
- Almonds and a protein shake
I am glad I am a woman and can have huge purses to hide all of this in! What do the men training for a competition do?! Anyone?
Where in the heck do you find greek yogurt? I look for this stuff everywhere! It must be more of an American food.
Planet Organic, Costco, Save-on…depends on what fat % you want…where have you looked?
I think they just carry big coolers around! They should carry man purses =)
Bodybuilding Murses…I think we can totally make a bazillion dollars with this idea!
My bf just carries around a huge cooler all the time. If we go somewhere for the day, he leaves it in the car and we just go back to the car every few hours to eat.
It is so great that you are both living the same lifestyle. I think that would make this whole thing a tad bit easier!
Does anyone know of a good cooler recommendation that can hold multiple meals?
Someone on facebook told me about such a thing! Apparently this thing holds up to 6 meals…. http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/6-pack-fitness/6-pack-meal-management-system.html
Thank you! I saw this and have seen great reviews; however, it is kind of pricey. Maybe I will splurge in the future.
