Trading On Purpose
Your day consists of waking up earlier than you would like, more coffee than your doctor says is advisable, back to back meetings, and HR ‘situations’.
Then the real work begins.
Fitting it all in before 6 pm so you can make it home in time for supper to see your family is a feat in and of itself.
Your desk is literally the no man’s land of important-non urgent tasks, email, and post it notes from your assistant.
Dreams of taking over the world have been replaced by treading water well enough to keep from drowning.
Good things crowd out the great.
You’re trading your life for this; what do you want?
Questions to help you rediscover your passion:
- If you quit your job today, what would you miss?
- What makes time speed up? What makes it slow down?
- When do you smile?
- When was the last time everything felt ‘as it should be’?
- If you could solve one problem in the world, what would it be?
You don’t have to keep trading for poor results.
Is it time for an intentional change?
